About the Artist

Carly McClain is a multi-medium artist based in Arizona whose work spans pencil portraiture, abstract painting, minimalist compositions, mixed media, and bold pop art. Her diverse practice reflects an insatiable curiosity and a refusal to be confined to a single style.

Drawing inspiration from the human form, emotional landscapes, and the beauty of everyday moments, Carly's work invites viewers to look closer and feel deeper. Each piece begins with an emotional impulse — a feeling that demands to be made visible.

By day, Carly is a 5th grade math teacher — bringing creativity and passion to the classroom just as she does to the canvas. When she's not teaching or in the studio, you'll find her sketching in her ever-present journal. Her work has been featured in local exhibitions and private collections across the Southwest.
